    150 wreaths laid at Mountain View Cemetery Saturday

    The 4th annual Wreaths Across America Ceremony in Riverton took place at 10:00 am today, December 19th. Community members, veterans, as well as local organizations gathered this morning to remember and honor veterans by laying a wreath on their graves at Mountain View Cemetery.

    WAA Location Leader Captain Karl Falken led today’s ceremony. The color guard presented the flags of the U.S. Armed Services and consisted of members of the Civil Air Patrol Wind River Squadron and local veterans.

    As community members, veterans, and local organizations laid the 150 wreaths, each veteran’s name was said aloud, and then saluted.

    The WAA Ceremony happened all across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and foreign soil today, and are in coordination with the ceremony at the Arlington National Cemetery.
