130 Wyoming Army National Guard members are set to leave for a deployment to the Middle East this month.
Members of the 2nd Battalion of the 300th Field Artillery will travel from Casper to Fort Bills, Texas and then to undisclosed locations in the Middle East.
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon will attend a send-off ceremony Wednesday in Casper.
Some of the members will be involved in artillery support while others will be under the U.S. Central Command in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Casper Star-Tribune, the guardsmen are set to return this winter.
