#10life is County 10 series to share and celebrate everything that’s great about local life in Fremont County, brought to you by RE/MAX All-Star, Realtors.

Smith’s Food and Drug in Riverton, Wyoming announced this week that they are opening an hour earlier to let senior citizen shoppers into the store. This is part of the nationwide program offered currently by the Smith’s grocery store chain.

Customers 60 and over will be allowed into the store from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Regular store hours in Riverton are currently 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Early access is available in Riverton 7 days per week. Smith’s management told County 10 there may be some confusion on the days the program is offered, because other Wyoming stores are only allowing the early access 3 days per week. While some social media rumors are apparently going around about the days this is offered, management confirmed that Smith’s in Riverton is indeed opening to seniors early every day.
