(Fremont County, WY) – With the most recent gripping winter storm a lot of folks are thinking of sunnier days. While this certainly isn’t a comprehensive or detailed list, below are a few of the big things happening around the 10 through this summer. Check our Community Calendar for more and add your own! Sunny warm days are on their way!
First Friday for both Riverton and Lander. As the weather gets nicer, the first Friday events will be even more fun! Remember the Riverton Chamber has started a first Friday downtown Riverton and it’s important to take part so local events and businesses can thrive. We hear that Riverton’s First Fridays will be ramping up through the Spring months with big things to come!
Roaster Rendezvous, May 28th – 30th in Riverton. The main events will be held on May 29th. If you like coffee and goodies this will be an event you want to check out thanks to the Riverton Chamber. They have held this in September in years past.
1838 Rendezvous – Another major annual event in Fremont County, the 2021 1838 Rendezvous will take place June 30th – July 4th on the Rendezvous Grounds South of Riverton. Vendors, Black Powder rifles, activities and family fun abound at this long-standing reenactment of the original Fur Trade era Rendezvous that happened on the exact same site.
4th of July in Lander with Lander Fremont Toyota Pioneer Days half-marathon, 5k, parade, rodeo, fireworks, little cowpokes, and Indian relay races. Events will be held at various locations around Lander.
Riverton Happy Days – Back by popular demand and moving to Riverton’s City Park this year is Riverton Happy Days on July 10th. City Park will be filled with vendors, food trucks, games, activities and local talent!
Riverton Rendezvous – The third weekend in July, as always, Riverton is hopping with car shows, cruises and hot air balloons! The annual Balloon Rally is expected to be the biggest yet in 2021! This annual weekend of events is a great time for Fremont County to gather around hot air balloons, classic cars and tons of fun!
Fremont County fair is July 31st- August 7th. A week full of fun with the local fair at the Fremont County fairgrounds. If you are interested in entering something into the fair this year they will start that on June 20th. This will be the 108th Fremont County fair by the way…
Lander Brewfest August 13th and 14th. Brewfest’s are always a good time. You can count on good refreshments, music and fun.
Wyoming Outdoor Weekend and Expo 2021 May 22nd in Lander. Everything outdoors is pretty much what you need to know about this and that it is being held at the Lander Community and Convention Center. Find out more here.
