The City of Lander shared additional information about the one Fremont County resident who has tested presumptive positive for COVID-19. This is not a new case. The City of Lander’s press release is as follows:
There is one presumptive positive COVID-19 case isolated in Lander’s Sage West Hospital. Dr. Harris, State Medical Officer and her team are on their way to Lander to help Dr. Gee, Fremont County Medical officer fully assess the situation.
The City has no authority for quarantines, private business operations, schools or public gatherings. Please stay tuned to media from Fremont Public Health, Wyoming Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control. We are working with these agencies and will pass on press releases as warranted.

The City recommends that organizations and businesses base your decision to hold events or stay open on these published CDC mitigation strategies.
• Clean surfaces that have public contact frequently during the day.
• Consider remote meetings or services including delivery or parking lot service for food and essential items.
• Consider setting up to allow 6-feet of social distancing for individuals at all gatherings of 10 or more people.
