(Pavillion, Wyo.) – A new Fremont County BOCES class at Wind River High School is being taught by School District #6’s School Resource Officer Fremont County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Brett Johnson.
(Pavillion, Wyo.) – Twenty-one Wind River High School Students have earned a total of 129 college credit hours in the first semester through Concurrent and Dual Enrollment Courses offered through Central Wyoming College.
(Pavillion, Wyo.) – A Wind River High School senior from Crowheart has placed among the top five percent of 1.5 million students nationwide in competition for a National Merit Scholarship. WRHS Principal Ceatriss Wall said that Robert Buline was named a “commended student” in the 2015 program.
(Pavillion, Wyo.) – The student body and staff of Wind River Middle/High school completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Thursday.
(Pavillion, Wyo.) – Wind River High School’s 25 graduates had a rare treat on Sunday afternoon. They had TWO members of the United States Congress be their guest speakers. Senior U.S. Senator Mike Enzi and Wyoming’s lone representative, Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis, both attended and shared bits of wisdom with the grads.

Wind River High School educator awarded Outstanding Young Member by National Association of Agriculture Educators for Wyoming
(Pavillion, Wyo.) – Matt Frazier, agriculture educator and FFA advisor for Wind River High School in Pavillion was recently awarded the Outstanding Young Member award by the National Association of Agriculture Educators for Wyoming.
(Pavillion, Wyo.) – Twenty members of the Wind River High School Class of 2013 walked across the stage today ending their public school careers and walking into the future. Valedictorian Darlee Hyatt told anecdotes about her classmates and wishing everyone of them well in the future and Salutatorian Ryan Weliever thanked his family and others for the support they gave him over the years, including those pesky early morning wake-ups to get to school on time.
