Speedy Wolverine breaks decades-old record

(Riverton, Wyo) – Riverton High School’s 100 meter dash record of 11.01 seconds has stood firm for 27 years. The record was set then by now Lander resident Ben Gose. This weekend in Casper RHS Senior Sean Watts broke that decades old record with a time of 10.93 seconds. Watts day only got better as he then proceeded to break the 1982 Riverton High School 200 meter dash record of 22.40 (set by Leroy Lange) with a new record time of 22.31 seconds.

Hutchison top overall student in Regional Science Fair; RHS qualifies 18 to State Science Fair

(Riverton, Wyo.) – Riverton High School will send 18 of its 22 West Central Region Science Fair participants to the state science fair, Principal John Griffith said today. The eighteen exhibited at this past week’s Science Fair at Central Wyoming College.

Wyoming Marching Band Festival on tap Saturday; LVHS and RHS bands to compete

The Marching Wolverines, in red and black, and the Marching Tigers, in green, participated in Band Day at the University of Wyoming last Saturday.
