(Riverton, Wyo.) – By this time next fall, Riverton High School’s Hall of Fame should be in place, if plans advance as scheduled, according to RHS Activities Director Jeremy Hill.
(Riverton, Wyo.) – District #25 Activities Director Jeremy Hill this week released the revised schedule for the McDonald’s Volleyball Tournament to be played in Riverton this weekend. The matches are scheduled for Riverton High and Riverton Middle School. Participating teams include: Riverton, Laramie, Casper Kelly Walsh, Cheyenne East, Sheridan, Casper Natrona County, Cheyenne Central, Sheridan, and Cheyenne South. See the schedule below:

(Washington, D.C.) Wyoming’s Junior United States Senator John Barrasso recently met with Riverton High School student Janae Harris. Janae was in Washington to participate in the National Young Leaders Conference (NYLC), an opportunity for high school students from around the nation to join their peers as they gain critical leadership experiences and skills to succeed in the future.
(Riverton, Wyo.) – The Riverton Alternative Program received a big ovation Tuesday night from the Fremont County District 25 Board of Trustees for winning the National Championship in the Great American Can Roundup. The RHS program was second in the country last year, and this year moved to the top of the heap by collecting nearly 7,000 pounds of aluminum cans.
(Riverton, Wyo.) – The Riverton High School Class of 2014, 164 strong, graduated this afternoon before packed house at Wolverine Gym.

RHS one of only five high schools nationally to receive a Global Excellence Award for student exchanges
Riverton High School was named one of only five high schools in the United States to be recognized as as a Global Excellence Award recipient by the the EF Foundation for Foreign Exchange, school board members were told Tuesday night.
(Riverton, Wyo.) – It is a house being built by sophomores. The home, now under construction just outside of the James. H. Moore Career Center at Riverton High School, is scheduled for delivery at the end of this month.
(Riverton, Wyo.) – For the first time in the history of the Wyoming Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Conference, one school has won the top two culinary awards.
(Riverton, Wyo.) – The Riverton High School Golf Team, the defending Class 4A State Champions, has been invited to the Antiqua National High School School Golf tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona, in September.

(Riverton, Wyo) – Riverton High School’s 100 meter dash record of 11.01 seconds has stood firm for 27 years. The record was set then by now Lander resident Ben Gose. This weekend in Casper RHS Senior Sean Watts broke that decades old record with a time of 10.93 seconds. Watts day only got better as he then proceeded to break the 1982 Riverton High School 200 meter dash record of 22.40 (set by Leroy Lange) with a new record time of 22.31 seconds.
