County Fair: Lady Pig Wrestler Champions take 11.5 seconds to wrangle their wriggly pig; More events on tap today

(Riverton, Wyo.) – County 10 invested wisely in the calcutta at the Fremont County Fair, buying the eventual Ladies Champion Pig Wrestling team. Sponsored by local business OnSite Services, the team is comprised of Heidi Powell, Stephanie Woods, Lyndsay Brown and Ashlee Kintzler. Great job Ladies! They wrestled their pig in 11:56 seconds for the winning time.

County Fair exhibits feature talents of local youth, hobbyists

(Riverton, Wyo.) – When the exhibit halls opened this week at the 99th Annual Fremont County Fair in Riverton, the talents of county residents went on display, both youth and adults. For the last year, projects had been planned, artists have been at work, photographs were taken, special foods were made, clothes were designed and now they are all on display.

County 10 fan on vacation in Ireland!

(Dublin, Ireland) – Jackie Hart Meeker sent a Facebook post today noting that she and Ross are on vacation in Ireland with a County 10 fan! “Thought we’d spread the good word about County 10 across the pond,” she wrote.  The two photos include Jackie at the Molly Malone statue in Dublin, and one of her with Trinity College in the background. Thanks Jackie… you’re a 10!

Kessler to run as Independent candidate for County Commission, District #4; Scheler withdrew from race; Roller taking job in Cheyenne

(Lander, Wyo.) – Long-time Lander area resident Steff Kessler announced today that she is running for Fremont County Commissioner in District #4, the Lander-Hudson area. Kessler said  she has submitted a suf?cient number of veri?ed signatures to qualify as an independent candidate on the ballot for the November general election.
