Nominations now open for LVHS/FCVHS Hall of Fame

(Lander, Wyo.) – The Lander Valley Education Foundation (LVEF) has issued a call for nominations for the LVHS/FCVHS Hall of Fame. To be eligible for the honor, alumni must have demonstrated distinction in professional achievement or made significant contributions to society. Also eligible for nomination are former educators who have made a significant contribution to the education and welfare of district students.

This year’s inductees include (front row from left) Darian “Skye” Barnes, Fahriddin Basitov, Faziddin Basitov and Lori Bench. In the middle row are Christopher Hartman, Caitlin Heryford, John Huckman, Rachel Medow and Caitlin Cope. In the back are Andrea Molen, Mikki Moriarity, Brittany Rose and Maramee Womack. Also inducted, but not pictured, are Josh Green, Krystal Johnson, Breana Keith, William Polansky, Sarah Wilkins and Gene Wintermote.

Rutter’s Requiem is featured at CWC Spring Showcase Concert Thursday

(Riverton) – John Rutter’s Requiem, a seven-movement work for choir, an instrumental ensemble and a soprano soloist, is featured at the annual Central Wyoming College Spring Music Showcase Concert Thursday, May 3, at the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre.
