Rosie May Bartholomew, 70, of Lander, Wyoming, died on June 2, 2019 in Lander at her home. A Memorial Service will be held 10am, Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Church of the Nazarene, 201 Amoretti St, Lander, WY 82520. With a Memorial Dinner to follow at 11am in the church.
Rosie was born on July 23, 1948 to Ray Lopez and Madeline Sedillo Lopez in Springer, New Mexico. They moved to Lander in 1959. While attending the schools of Lander she met and married her high school sweetheart, Bill Bartholomew. They have been happily married for 53 years.
Rosie always remembered people’s birthdays and anniversaries, never neglecting to call and wish you a “Happy Day”. She also loved her grandchildren, enjoyed gardening, sewing, and being a home maker.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Madeline Lopez; sister, Pauline Cachelin; granddaughter, Dakota Coffee, of Powell; ; and nephew, Michael Cachelin of Green River.
Rosie is survived by her husband, Bill Bartholomew of Lander; daughters, Patty Koivupalo of Hudson, and Toni (David) Coffee of Hudson; brothers, Ray (Janet) Lopez of Lander, Richard (Patty) Lopez of Lander, Joe Lopez of Rapid City, South Dakota; sister, Susan (Mark) McDonald of Green River; numerous nieces and nephews; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
