From the FCSO: “Yesterday’s Record of Arrests incorrectly listed 25-year-old Charmayne C’hair as being arrested on an outstanding Fremont County Arrest Warrant for Contempt of Court over the weekend.
“C’hair called the Sheriff’s Office to report that she observed her name as being arrested in local media and that it was incorrect. She was asked to come into the Sheriff’s Office and verify her identity, which she did. She was then arrested on her outstanding warrant and jailed.
“The person who used C’hair’s name was then identified as 23-year-old Misti Duran of Arapahoe. Duran was still incarcerated; she was charged with Interference with a Peace Officer for providing the false name.
“When Duran was contacted over the weekend she was not wanted by the Sheriff’s Office, however she provided a false name of a person who was wanted.”
