(Lander, Wyo.) – As an end-of-season treat, the Lander Community Concert Association invites the public to a special Tuesday, June 24th performance of Swingtime Canteen, a fast-paced homage to the great swing hits of the 1940s. This concert is free, there is no admission charge, but donations are welcome. In a news release, the association suggested family and friends could join the fun and dress in 1940s period costume and dance in the aisles. Period attire is not required.

(Laramie, Wyo.) — The University of Wyoming receives nearly $130 million in external funding annually, creating more than 2,200 jobs and stimulating $129 million in value-added economic activity around the state, according to a new study.
(Lander, Wyo.) – Lander Rural Firefighters late this afternoon responded to a car fire on Red Canyon Road. A red supercharged Ford Mustang GT driven by Murray Ritland caught fire as it was headed into the country.
(Yellowstone National Park) – Biologists with the Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team (IGBST) and Yellowstone National Park will be conducting scientific grizzly bear and black bear research operations in Yellowstone National Park from June 24 through October 31, as part of the ongoing monitoring of the activities and population of grizzly bears within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

(Lander, Wyo) – The Court Assisted Supervised Treatment (CAST) program of Fremont County is seeking a Licensed Addiction Therapist or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in addiction therapy. This individual will provide Intensive Outpatient Treatment and Relapse Prevention Treatment in group settings, as well as deliver one-on-one counseling to adult clients who have substance abuse issues and are in the criminal justice system. Adherence to ethical codes, maintaining strict confidentially, ability to work effectively with a team, and maintaining quality and current documentation is a must.
