New WHP Mobile Education and Enforcement Team trucks hit the road

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) – The Wyoming Highway Patrol Mobile Education and Enforcement Team (MEET) is composed of specialized commercial vehicle inspectors whose primary responsibilities are to help educate commercial carriers and drivers in size and weight regulations and federal motor carrier rules and laws while enforcing violations as well.

State Champion 15-year-old Babe Ruth All Stars received their fire truck ride Monday evening

(Riverton, Wyo.) – Riverton’s Babe Ruth Baseball teams made a clean sweep of the state tournaments this year with both the 13-14 year old team and the 15-year-old All Stars winning their respective state championships. The 15-year-old All Stars got their ride on a Riverton Fire Truck through town on Monday evening.

Running talent put on a show at the Dodge PRCA Rodeo last night!

(Riverton, Wyo.) – The Fremont County Fair & Rodeo welcomed big-name talent, Brittany Pozzi and Sherry Cervi to it’s “Military Appreciation” Dodge PRCA rodeo last night. These ladies tore up the arena in the barrel racing event with fast times.
Brittany Pozzi led last night’s round with a time of 17.73 while Sherry Cervi followed close behind with a time of 17.80.

(Lander, Wyo.) – A public notice from the Wind River Environmental Quality Commission posted on County10.com on Monday indicated E.coli bacteria levels exceeded Tribal Water Quality standards for primary contact recreation activities about one mile downstream from Lander.
