More Wyoming rest areas getting Wifi
WYDOT says: “We’re finding new ways to provide connections for the traveling public.”
We’re busy texting out: “OMG!” – [send]
While you’re on a Wyoming highway things seem a little less exciting without the Information Super Highway at your finger tips. Now you can catch a break and update your Instagram feed with mountain pics at these newest locations: Rest areas located at Chugwater, Dwyer Junction and Orin Junction, all on Interstate 25 between Cheyenne and Casper.
Oh, and did we mention free? Thank you WYDOT.
Look for Wi-Fi (“WY-Fi”?) at another location near you when it’s made available at rest areas at Independence Rock, southwest of Casper on WYO 220 and both the westbound and eastbound Bitter Creek rest areas, 41 miles east of Rock Springs on I-80. Those will likely be completed within the next 12-18 months.
