SageWest to promote Diabetic Foot Ulcer Detection, treatment

(Fremont County, Wyo.) – The Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at SageWest Health Care in Riverton, a member of the Healogics network, is participating in the Healogics National Diabetes Campaign from Oct. 27-31. Staff at the wound care clinic will dedicate the entire week to visiting local physician offices to provide education to help staff identify diabetic patients with or at risk of having ulcers of the lower extremity. One of nearly 600 Healogics managed centers, the wound care clinic offers advanced therapies to patients suffering from chronic wounds like diabetic foot ulcers.

Forums set on Rules for Wyoming Medicaid Home, Community-Based Service Settings

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) –  With new federal rules in effect, the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) is planning public forums and other opportunities to help interested residents learn more about expected changes to home and community-based services funded through Wyoming Medicaid.
