(Cheyenne, Wyo.) – Wyoming’s boating season is now in full swing and with the busy Fourth of July holiday coming up, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department reminds boaters to take special care to make sure watercraft regulations are being followed to ensure safety on Wyoming’s waters.
(Hudson, Wyo.) – Hudson Daze, a community event in Hudson, Wyo., enters its third year. From the brain child of Pat and Becky Nicol, the event originally began as a fundraiser for the Hudson Fire district as a way of saying thank you for all they have done for the Hudson community. The event has evolved into a fundraiser for various community functions.
Riverton: Wind River Health Disparities Conference 9 AM – 3 AM – Inequities on the Wind River Indian Reservation will be addressed at a conference at the Wind River Hotel & Casino on June 10 and 11. The purpose of this conference is to learn about health needs on the reservation and to increase collaboration among local, state, tribal and federal health organizations. The public is invited to attend all conference sessions, where tribal leaders, state officials and health-care professionals will discuss health care access, delivery and service challenges and possible solutions. Anyone interested in either health care or in key issues for Native Americans in Wyoming should plan to attend.
