(Lander, Wyo) The City of Lander has created a calculator to help the citizens determine how the new water and sewer rates will impact them financially.
(Lander, Wyo) WATER DEPARTMENT – The City of Lander is working on a leak in the water system located at the 900 Block of Dabich Street. The department is turrning off water in the area until the leak is repaired. Thank you for your patience.
(Lander, Wyo) – City of Lander Weed & Pest Department has had a significant reduction of mosquitoes caught in the traps this past week. Due to the reduction in mosquitoes the Department will discontinue spraying. The Department will continue to trap each week and monitor the mosquitoes for the West Nile Virus. The traps are still showing the mosquito that carries the West Nile Virus.

(Lander, Wyo) – The City of Lander will pick up your tree branches and leaves only, if they are on the curb. Tree limbs must be no longer than 4′ in length and bundled together no larger than one foot in diameter, leaves must be bagged.
(Lander, Wyo) – City of Lander Weed and Pest Supervisor James DeMasi has scheduled a meeting for the public on April 11, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 240 Lincoln Street. The meeting will be a question and answer – idea sharing meeting.

(Lander, Wyo) – The City of Lander City Council Tuesday January 22, will be discussing an amendment to the City ordinance that restricts the time that truck, trailer, machinery, mobile home or camper can be parked on the street.
(Lander, Wyo) – The Lander City Council will discuss and hear for first reading a change to the hours of sale for liquor establishments. The meeting will be Tuesday January 22, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 240 Lincoln Street, Lander.
(Lander, Wyo) – The City of Lander is encouraging City residents to volunteer for the Optional 1% Advisory Committee. The infrastructure committee will consist of 3-5 members and work closely with City staff to review the list of priorities an make project recommendations to the Lander City Council. The Optional 1% Funds will begin to be collected on April 1st, 2013.
(Lander, Wyo) – The City of Lander will allow all residential customers (not trailer parks or apartment houses) to run an additional 3,000 gallons of water to keep from freezing starting January 9, 2013. There will be a charge of $1. per 1,000 gallons of water usage over 15,000 gallons.
