COOLER AND UNSETTLED WEATHER WILL SPREAD ACROSS MUCH OF THE COWBOY STATE TODAY AS A PASSING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES ACROSS COLORADO. THIS SYSTEM WILL SPREAD ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL WYOMING TODAY. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD PRODUCE AREAS OF HEAVY RAINFALL AND GUSTY WINDS THIS AFTERNOON…WITH SOME SMALL HAIL ALSO. HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN BUILD ACROSS THE REGION ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY…ALONG WITH A SLIGHT WARMING TREND. A MORE ACTIVE AND COOLER WEATHER PATTERN IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE REGION FOR THE LABOR DAY WEEKEND.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED TODAY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE SOUTHERN THIRD OF THE STATE. 
SOME HEAVY RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE WITHSTORM ACTIVITY...IN ADDITION TO GUSTY WIND AND SMALL HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

FRIDAY...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS MAINLY OVER THE MOUNTAINS ANDADJACENT LOWER ELEVATIONS.

SATURDAY...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...MAINLY OVERTHE NORTHWEST AND NORTH. 
ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS POSSIBLE OVER CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN AREAS.

SUNDAY AND MONDAY...A STORM SYSTEM COULD BRING A RETURN TOUNSEASONABLY COOL AND INCLEMENT WEATHER. 
MOUNTAINS COULD SEE SOME SNOW ACCUMULATIONS.
