Wyoming G&F: “Coffee with a Warden” set Thursday at Atlantic City
(Lander, Wyo.) – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites interested public to ‘Coffee with a Warden’ to share thoughts, ideas or questions you may have on Thursday, August 28 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Miner’s Grubstake, 150 East Main St., Atlantic City.
Brad Hovinga, Lander game warden, will be available that morning to host the open platform. “This program provides the public with a forum where there are no agendas, topics or expectations, just an opportunity to talk about anything that comes up,” he said. “It’s as much about getting to know the game warden and the game warden getting to know you, as it is dealing with wildlife management and law enforcement issues. It is also a great way for me to gain insight into public concerns about local wildlife issues.”
This will be the third program hosted by Hovinga and he said he “looks forward to expanding the program into an adjacent community.”
