(Shoshoni, Wyo.) – Deterioration of underground facilities was cited as the cause for a power outage that lasted for 80 minutes Monday. The power went off at 11:08 a.m. and was finally restored at 12:28 p.m. when power was rerouted to the affected customers.
Rocky Mountain Power spokesman Paul Murphy in Salt Lake City said the outage only impacted nine customers in a small area of the town. “We switched to an alternate source to get the power back up and now will repair the underground equipment.
