Dunk tank and dedication ceremony to be featured at tomorrow’s LVFD pancake breakfast

(Lander, Wyo.) – The Lander Volunteer Fire Department’s annual pancake breakfast is tomorrow morning, Aug. 15, and there are a few new features to this year’s gathering.

The breakfast gets started at 7 a.m. at the Lander Fire Hall and goes until 10 a.m. This year a dunk tank, featuring local celebrities like Sen. Cale Case, will be there to provide some entertainment. Donations for throws at the dunk tank will go to the Ladies Auxilliary. The picnic itself is $5/adult and $3/child.

At about 9:30 a.m. the fire department will hold a retirement ceremony for its old ladder truck and dedication ceremony for the new one.
