A line of traffic waits for the pilot car to navigate them through the construction this morning north of Lander on Highway 789.

(Lander, Wyo.) – Were you one of the lucky individuals who got had a delayed commute this morning between Lander and Riverton? You can expect those delays to continue through Thursday.

Wyoming Department of Transportation has a chip seal project going on Tuesday through Thursday on Highway 789 between Lander and Hudson.

The crew will then move over to the Sand Draw-Gas Hills Road for some chip sealing there, and if weather holds, will move to Dubois for a short stretch of Highway 26/287 near the forest boundary. Next week, chip sealing will be on U.S. 20/26 between Shoshoni and Waltman.
