Roadwork on Portions of BLM Hudson–Atlantic City Road August 10-15

(Lander, Wyo.) –  The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lander Field Office will be improving portions of the Hudson–Atlantic City Road August 10-15, 2014. Travelers are advised to avoid using the road during this time period.

Two sections of the road will be graded and a road binding agent applied:

  • Nine miles of the Hudson–Atlantic City Road from Hwy 287 to the west (August 10-12)
  • Fourteen miles of the Hudson–Atlantic City Road from Hudson to the Beaver Creek Road (August 13-15 or until complete)

Dates are approximate as the work may take more or less time than scheduled. Roads will be signed where work is occurring.

The binding agent that will be applied is a cost effective and environmentally safe way to compact and stabilize the road to prevent dust and erosion.

Thank you for your patience. For more information, please contact BLM Civil Engineer Anthony Sowell at 307-332-8400.
