(Riverton, Wyo.) – The fund raising raffle of a quilt to benefit the Fremont County Veteran’s Assistance Fund generated about $2,000 at the Wind River PRCA Rodeo Roundup this week at the county fair. Ironically, the winner of the quilt was a veteran who was being recognized that night, Jim Arndt.

Tickets for the raffle were sold just inside the gate of the grand arena. Monday night’s rodeo was a salute to all veterans. The flags and anthems of the armed services and merchant marine were displayed inside the arena.
