Two out-of-state men get arrested for DUI for driving the same vehicle
(Lander, Wyo.) – Deputies arrested 42-year-old Gabriel Moss of California and 41-year-old Valda Evans of Montana both on charges of DWUI alleging they operated the same vehicle while intoxicated.
Moss and Evans were stopped after it was reported they were involved in a hit and run incident on Clinchard Street in Lander.
At the time of the stop Moss was operating the vehicle; he was intoxicated and arrested for DWUI. During his arrest Moss indicated that Evans was actually operating the vehicle when the collision occurred. Both Moss and Evans stated they had “switched seats after the wreck.”
Both men also had outstanding Wyoming Warrants for their arrest; Moss was wanted out of Fremont County, while Evans was being sought by Sheridan County authorities on misdemeanor charges.
