Wyoming Air National Guard C-130 picked up Army cargo in Riverton this morning
(Riverton, Wyo.) – A Wyoming Air National Guard C-130 Cargo plane landed at Riverton Regional Airport this morning to pick up a piece of equipment from the armory in Lander. After the unit was loaded aboard, with a height clearance of only one inch, the aircraft took off again headed for Cheyenne. The vehicle will be displayed in Cheyenne for two days during the annual Frontier Days Rodeo Celebration. The aircraft will return to Fremont County on Thursday morning.
