(Lander, Wyo.) – The newest member of the Fremont County Museum Board is Ron DuBay, of Dubois. He was appointed to a 3 year term on the board by the county commissioners on July 2nd.
DuBay is distinguished U.S. Army Veteran who retired in 1989 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska and a Masters of Education from Boston University. During his 22 year-long military career, among many other citations, he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, along with a Bronze Star and the Meritorious Service Medal. In addition to being a Military Aviator, he also earned his Airborne “Jump Wings” and also attended both the Command & General Staff College, as well as the Armed Forces Staff College.
DuBay has long ties to the state of Wyoming, is an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and proudly calls Dubois home. He is married to Marcia DuBay and they have 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
