The Fremont County Association of Governments is accepting applications for the following position:
Transportation Manager for Wind River Transportation Authority (WRTA)
This position has the responsibility to direct and oversee day-to-day operations of the transportation program; recruit, hire, train and supervise all personnel; solicit and accept funds from Federal, State and local sources for the operation of the program; maintain cooperative relationships with local, state and federal groups; develop and carry out effective equipment maintenance programs; carry out an effective public information program; work with and report to the FCAG Board of Directors to insure that the Board is kept fully informed on the condition of the transit authority, up to and including fiscal management.
Required Qualifications: Experience in supervisory or management position within a transportation program, including experience in planning, budgeting and personnel management; familiarity with state and federal government programs; ability to formulate proposals and grant applications; and familiarity with the transportation system including dispatching, driver training, supervision and maintenance.
Benefits: Starting salary $60,000. In addition to standard vacation and sick leave, health, dental and vision insurance and Wyoming state retirement.
