(Lander, Wyo) – “When you live this close to one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world you can’t help but be inspired to build products for the outdoors”, noted Brendon Weaver, Principle of Maven Outdoor Equipment Company and their Chief Designer. “We’re especially excited this week to launch our brand at the largest event in Fremont County – the 4th of July Parade.”
True to it’s Wyoming roots, Maven has chosen their own unique path to bring it’s products to consumers. “We’ll only have one retail location nationwide, and that will be here in our hometown,” explained Mike Lilygren. “We felt it was important to partner with a local outdoor retailer. Ron Hansen’s Wind River Outdoor Company, with his new location, exceeds all of our requirements.”
Aside from that single retail location all Maven products will be available exclusively on their website. Cade Maestas added, “Consumers will be able to customize our products in ways that they couldn’t previously. The gear that outdoor enthusiasts carry with them are more of a personal reflection and extension of them, so we believe allowing them to tailor the functionality and design to their fit their use and taste represents the future of retail.” Their flagship product at launch will be a full featured top-of-the-line binocular that’s been reimagined for the modern outdoor enthusiast. “Every one is different – hand-built to the desires of the customer.”
Watch for the Maven truck and trailer in the parade procession, as they will be giving out Maven-branded gear such as hats, shirts and water bottles to cheering parade watchers. Two lucky people will receive gift certificates (valued at $1,300 each) to create their own customized binocular when the site launches later this Summer.
This is a unique opportunity to follow a local business as it reaches across the nation with products inspired by Wyoming. Follow along on their site at Mavenbuilt.com.
