Wild Iris’ Annual Climbers Festival Sale is the biggest sale of the YEAR! It will be encompassing the store, both inside and out. There will be sale racks in the parking lot on Wednesday and Thursday, so please take advantage of parallel parking along Main Street in front of the shop! The shop is open 9am-8pm on Wednesday, 9am-6pm Thursday-Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday. Don’t forget Wednesday is locals’ appreciation day, boasting 10% off storewide as well as first picks on deeply discounted sale product. Wild Iris’ friendly neighbor down the block, The Gannett Grill, will be right there in the parking lot during the sale grilling up food too!
Of course, the Annual Climbers Festival Sale runs in conjunction with the longest running climbing festival in the world – The International Climbers Festival! This year is the 21st Annual, with some big names such as Lynn Hill, Alex Honnold, Sasha DiGiulian, Conrad Anker and many more attending to host clinics and give presentations. The ICF (International Climbers Festival) was started by legendary climbers Todd and Amy Skinner, Paul Piana, Heidi Badaracco and friends with the purpose of celebrating climbing and bringing people from all over the world to experience the amazing recreation opportunities around Lander, Wyoming.
Wild Iris Mountain Sports has supported this event throughout its 21 year duration and is excited to be intricately involved again this year. ICF Registration and ticket pickup will take place at Wild Iris Mountain Sports, 166 Main Street, starting at noon on Wednesday the 9th.
Friday afternoon in City Park, Wild Iris will have a trade fair booth along with all of the other festival sponsors. There are tons of games, gear to check out, and fun competitions all capped off with a live concert! This is a must-attend event that is very family friendly.
Wild Iris will be sponsoring the ICF closing party Saturday night July 10th held at the Lander Bar-which is always a good time! To purchase tickets and for more info, please visit www.climbersfestival.org or stop by Wild Iris Mountain Sports starting on Wednesday July 9th.
