Flood study funding and more on Fremont County Commission’s agenda

(Lander, Wyo.) – The Fremont County Commission on Tuesday will meet with the Popo Agie Conservation District to discuss funding options for a Lander-area flood study.

The study, if funded and completed, would provide a plan of action for future flood-protection infrastructure projects. The PACD will be bringing forward to the commission a grant application for a federally funded program.

The commission’s regular meeting starts at 9 a.m. in its chambers at the Courthouse in Lander. The flood study is up for discussion at 10:30 a.m.
