(Riverton, Wyo.) – Contestants and spectators are once again looking forward to The WRANGLER CLASSIC 2014. The event returns to the Jim Moss Arena which is located at 500 Eight Mile Rd, Riverton, WY. The fun begins with a Wyoming Whiskey Tasting at noon on Friday, July 18 followed by the Prairie Dog Open Golf Tournament T-Off at 1 p.m. WTRC Team Roping starts at 6 p.m. on Friday and as the roping winds down, the band gets started! Don’t miss the Bob Stevens Band, from Jackson on Friday night from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m., no cover charge – compliments of Jim and Paulette Moss.

Event producers, Jim and and Paulette Moss, are anticipating over 1,000 teams on July 18-20 in the Wrangler Team Roping Championships roping and 800 runs in the WY NBHA and NWBRA sanctioned barrel race. Contestants from an eight state region will be vying for added money, trophy saddles, trophy buckles, trophy jackets, rope sponsorships, Pro Equine sponsorships, boots, Heel O Matic Trophy Jackets, Bailey Hats, Priefert Trophy Plaques, Team Equine Trophy Pads, Wrangler Jean Certificates and more!

Everyone is welcome to enter the Prairie Dog Open nine hole golf tournament, which will held in the pasture. Bring your own four wheeler and enjoy some good ol’ red neck style competition. Trophy buckles and other awards will be awarded to the champions.
