Today’s Weather: Cool, partly cloudy, isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms

(Riverton, Wyo.) – The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Riverton reported this morning that “High Pressure will begin to build across the region today…as a weak but moist southwest flow continues across the state. Partly Cloudy Skies will prevail across the Cowboy State today…with Cool temperatures and a continued threat of Isolated afternoon and evening Thunderstorms. Some of these Storms could produce areas of Small Hail and Gusty Winds at times…before dissipating overnight.”

    ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS…ESPECIALLY EAST OF DIVIDE. SOME STORMS MAY HAVE HAIL…HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WIND.

    .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

    TUESDAY…ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS…WITH THE BEST CONCENTRATION EXPECTED ALONG AND EAST OF THE DIVIDE. SOME STORMS MAY BECOME STRONG WITH HAIL…LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WIND.

    WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY…ISOLATED AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS…A LITTLE MORE NUMEROUS IN THE MOUNTAINS.

    FRIDAY…A BETTER CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE REGION.

    SATURDAY…ISOLATED AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE NORTH.
