Lander’s Terry Berg named National Golf Coach of the Year

(Douglas, Wyo.) – Wyoming had three high school coaches named as the National Coach of the Year, said Heath Hayes, the Region 7 Director for the National High School Coaches Association.

Terry Berg of Lander Valley High School was named the National Golf Coach of the Year, Cliff Hill of Gillette’s Campbell County High School was named Athletic Director of the Year, and Steve Mischke, Campbell County, was named Assistant Boys Coach of the Year.

These coaches were nominated by the Wyoming Coaches Association and then were selected as the Region 7 representative for the national honors (Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Alaska).
