County Planner Ray Price recognized upon his retirement

(Lander, Wyo.) – Fremont County Planner Ray Price was recognized this morning by the Fremont County Commission and the Fremont County Planning Commission for his years of service. Price is retiring at the end of the month.

County Commission Chairman Doug Thompson thanked Price for his willingness over the years to educate the public on issues rather than blowing them off. Planning Commission member Kristin Paulsen read a brief statement from her board to Price, calling him a great leader. “We will miss your humor and patience,” she said.

Price has spent more than 35 years with the county. He intends to continue his county service, having filed for election to the Fremont County Commission for the Lander-area district. The seat is currently held by Stephanie Kessler who intends to seak re-election as an independent.
