(Riverton, Wyo.) – There will be some big changes in the school lunch program at St. Margaret’s Catholic School come this fall. Due to the new Healthy Lunch Requirements and Federal Regulations covering school food service, which were becoming challenging for them, the private school asked Fremont County School District #25 if they would provide a lunch service this coming school year.
The FCSD#25 trustees approved the request at their last meeting.
“We looked to see if we could provide lunches to St. Margaret’s without impacting our own school lunch program, and we believe we can make it work,” said Superintendent Terry Snyder. “We’ll be providing them with prepared boxed meals for about 60 students.”
