(Laramie, Wyo.) – The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 8 a.m. Monday, June 16, by teleconference to take action on a number of construction-related and other matters.
Among the items on the agenda is selection of construction managers at-risk for the planned High Bay Research Facility and Corbett Pool expansion and renovation, along with the architect/engineer for the second phase of Arena-Auditorium improvements.
The board also is slated to select a consultant to help update UW’s historic preservation plan; approve a trail easement at the Jacoby Golf Course; approve state matching funds; and consider minor, housekeeping revisions to UW regulations.
UW President Dick McGinity is scheduled to update trustees on UW’s engineering and science initiatives.
An executive session regarding personnel matters is scheduled to conclude the meeting.
Those wishing to attend the open special meeting may do so in the Old Main boardroom. Since this is a special meeting, only those items listed on the agenda will be addressed. No other actions will be taken, and no public comment will be taken during the special meeting.
The complete agenda, along with a report that includes background information on agenda items, is available on the Web at www.uwyo.edu/trustees/2014-meeting-materials/june_16_2014_meeting.html.
