Lander Council to vote on waiving open container law for July Fourth
(Lander, Wyo.) – The Lander City Council on Tuesday evening will take its annual vote on whether or not to waive the town’s open container ordinance for the Fourth of July.
It has become a tradition in the town that for the majority of the day residents can walk around with open beers or other liquor containers. If approved this year, the open container law would be waived from 9 a.m., July 4, to midnight.
The council meeting is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at Lander City Hall. Also on Tuesday’s agenda is a public review of the 2014/2015 budget, catering permits, jail service agreement with Fremont County and more. Review the complete agenda below.
