(Lander, Wyo.) – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites interested public to ‘Coffee with a Warden’ to share thoughts, ideas or questions you may have on Thursday morning.

Brad Hovinga, Lander game warden, will be available that morning to host the open platform. He feels, “this program provides the public with a forum where there are no agendas, topics or expectations, just an opportunity to talk about anything that comes up. It’s as much about getting to know the game warden and the game warden getting to know you, as it is dealing with wildlife management and law enforcement issues. It is also a great way for me to gain insight into public concerns about local wildlife issues.”

This will be the second program hosted by Hovinga and he hopes “it will be successful and continue in several locations throughout the community.” The Region may also be including other Game and Fish employees in the future and this will be an excellent way for people, who normally don’t have contact with Department employees in other settings, to meet and discuss topics of their interest.

The coffee discussion will be held Thursday from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Main Street Books, 366 W. Main St., Lander.
