Fremont Therapy promotes Mitch Johnson and Courtney Hansen
(Lander and Riverton, Wyo.) – Fremont Therapy has promoted two individuals to the newly created position of Clinic Manager. Mitch Johnson, MPT, CHT is now the Clinic Director of the Riverton clinic and Courtney Hansen, MPT is the Clinic Director of the Lander clinic. Not only are they strong clinicians, they have a proven track record of leadership and they have demonstrated commitment to their profession. In conjunction with their new role, both Mitch and Courtney will continue to see patients on a daily basis.
In the last year alone, Fremont Therapy has added three new physical therapist positions in Fremont County and they are expanding their scope of operations to include both Sweetwater and Carbon counties this year. The company’s leadership believes the new clinic manager role will keep each of their clinics organized and facilitate the teamwork that has made Fremont Therapy such a great place for therapy in both Riverton and Lander for so many years.
“As we continue to grow, our resolve to provide patients the very best physical therapy care grows even stronger,” said Scott Phister, MPT, one of the owners of Fremont Therapy Group. Brent Kaufman, the other owner, added, “Evidence-based treatments, education and individual empowerment are our keys to improving the quality of life of our patients. We feel Mitch and Courtney are committed to this approach, and we are confident they will lead their teams to continue pursing the specialized training and certifications that are meaningful to the communities they serve.”
Mitch is a certified hand therapist with more than a decade of experience in the physical therapy field, and he brings previous clinic management experience. Mitch will continue seeing patients with hand therapy needs in Lander, though he will primarily be seeing patients in Riverton.
