Tip of meth use in Riverton leads to four arrests, citations

(Riverton, Wyo.) – An anonymous caller reported possible Methamphetamine use at an address in the 900 block of East Monroe Avenue Thursday afternoon. Deputies were aware of the location, and the fact that a person known to frequent the home, 32 year old Christopher Hardcastle of Shoshoni, had an active arrest warrant.

Upon arrival Hardcastle observed Deputies and fled into a shop building. Deputies entered the building to place Hardcastle under arrest, and while doing so also located three other subjects. Hardcastle was eventually located hiding in the building and was placed under arrest. Upon contacting the remaining occupants of the shop building the following arrests and citations were issued.

Travis Bjornson, 35, of Douglas, was found hiding in the shop, he was arrested on an outstanding Park County, Wyoming Arrest Warrant.

Derek Cady, 18, Riverton, admitted to the use of methamphetamine; he was turned over to his Probation Officer. Cady was subsequently arrested per the Probation Officer’s request.

Theresa Clarke, 31, Riverton, was found in possession of methamphetamine. Clarke was issued a citation and released.
