(Lander, Wyo.) – The office doors are open. Our June weather is stunning. At this very moment you may be staring at your computer monitor – plotting weekend yard work, fly-tying Cicadas, dropping quick-draws on rattlesnakes, or picturing that box of wine and binge watching the entire second season of Orange is the New Black. Whatever gets you through the last few work-worthy moments of your summer Friday afternoon, you should take a look at the 20+ brewers, a half-dozen-ish local food vendors, and four boot-stompin’ musical bands lined up for this year’s Fremont Toyota Lander Brew Fest.
Only seven more nights of sleep before the Lander Brew Fest begins and it is time to get your festival passes: $30/one-day and $50 for a two-day pass. Sponsored by Fremont Toyota and several other local businesses, the greater Lander community will expand by nearly 2000+ hop-friendly visitors next Friday-Saturday, June 13&14th. And this year’s brew competition is all about the pale ale; there’s impressive brewing talent representing from all over the Rocky Mountains.
In addition to sun, beer, music, and friends – other rigorous physical events are happening around town: the Fremont Area Road Tour aka F.A.R.T. (road biking) and Speedgoat’s Wyoming Cup (rugby) and a 9-hole scramble with brewers and their beers (golf) (morning beer).
So– moments away from Friday Happy Hour– we think it is high-time to fine-tune your hoppity palettes in preparation for next weekend’s Lander Brew Fest. But first – really impress your workmates with unprecedented end-of-week productivity by pre-purchasing festival tickets online or in-person at the Chamber office – and this time next week you’ll skip the long ticket lines and go straight to the suds.
