County to continue indigent burial policy discussion tomorrow

(Lander, Wyo.) – The Fremont County Commission along with out-going Fremont County Coroner Ed McAuslan will continue discussions tomorrow surround indigent burial policies. Throughout the last year, the county has attempted to work with local funeral home on finding ways to get funeral services paid for when the deceased or family do not have funds to pay for the services.

The discussion is set to begin at 9:30 a.m.. The meeting begins half an hour earlier in the commission’s chambers at the Fremont County Courthouse.

Also on the agenda is a number of budget hearings, an executive session about litigation and a plaque presentation to Leonard Hinkle for 30 years of service to the transportation department.

    How disgusting!!!!! You will give yourselves raises at taxpayer expense but won't be moral enough to bury the dead!

    WE need to remove all current commissioners, They have lost track of why they are there in the first place… They have the income guide lines so low for indigent care for hospitalization help and burial that NO ONE will EVER QUALIFY.
    VOTE THEM ALL OUT!!!!!
