WYO 789 through Hudson re-striped to add a center turn lane, two traffic lanes eliminated

(Hudson, Wyo.) – Motorists traveling between Riverton and Lander will notice a new traffic pattern through Hudson this week as the highway there has been re-striped. Wyoming Department of Transportation crews removed all pavement markings through town earlier this week and re-striped the highway with a center turn lane. Instead of two traffic lanes in each direction, there is now only one.

Traffic through downtown Hudson was reduced from four lanes to two with a center turn lane. (Ernie Over photo)

That maybe stop people from passing others doing the speed limit through Hudson !!~

Too bad they won't do the speed limit out on the highway. always finding someone just "sight seeing".

Dont really like the change.. especially since failed to show arrows one can turn either way… Turn lanes are still new to Wyoming Need to be dumbed down.. by having arrows and signs.. other than that is is ok..
