Wednesday, May 14

Dubois Centennial Open House – Celebrate 100 years of the Town of Dubois by attending an Open House and Historic Photo Exhibit at the Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street from 5 to 7 p.m.

 

Thursday, May 15

Suicide Prevention Taskforce Meeting – The taskforce meeting, open to the public, is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rocky Mountain Hall in Fort Washakie.

RHS Multicultural Dinner – The RHS Multicultural Club is holding their last dinner of the year at the Riverton Elks Lodge from 5 to 7 p.m. They will be serving Indian tacos and chicken enchiladas with dessert and drink for $8.00 per entre.

Business After Hours – The Lander Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Business After Hours is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Acu-Health Acupuncture.

WG&F Herd Unit Objectives Meeting – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is holding a public meeting at 6 p.m. at the Lander Regional Office (260 Buena Vista Dr) to discuss herd management objectives for the Badwater pronghorn herd, and the Green Mountain and South Wind River elk herds.

 

Friday, May 16

34th annual Red Desert Audubon Wildlife Art Show reception – The show opens at the Lander Art Center with a public reception from 6-8pm. This exhibition of local artists celebrates artwork depicting residential or migratory flora and fauna.

Central Wyoming College Commencement – The ceremony starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre.

Clean Up Lander’s Main Street – A group of volunteers will work from 12 to 3 p.m. cleaning up along Main Street and in the alleys behind Main Street. Those interested in joining should meet at Centennial Park at noon.
