NWS: Active spring runoff to continue early this week after warmer weekend

(Riverton, Wyo.) – The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Riverton said active runoff will continue early this week. Here’s the NWS synopsis:

Active snow melt and increased run off will continue to start the next couple of days to start the work week. Temperatures will remain seasonal for early May on Monday and slightly cooler on Tuesday. Gusty winds will be less widespread on Monday, mainly affecting southern and central portions of the forecast area. Rain showers will enter northern portions Monday, becoming more widespread on Tuesday. Thunderstorms will mainly be confined to southern and southwestern portions on Tuesday.
