(Riverton, Wyo.) – Here is this week’s Riverview Road and Federal Boulevard/Monroe Avenue construction updates from the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

Riverview Road: The Henry Drive intersection with Riverview Road is scheduled to close Monday, May 5, through Wednesday, May 7, to allow workers with prime contractor Jerry Bornhoft Construction, Inc., of Riverton to continue installing sanitary sewer. During the closure of Henry Drive, Henry Drive residents will be required to detour to and from their homes via Mary Drive.
The contractor does not plan to work on the Riverview Road highway improvement project on Saturday, May 3, and citizens are reminded to travel slowly through the work zone.
The project public weekly is 1 p.m. every Thursday at the City of Riverton’s Public Works Building on Monroe Avenue, and citizens and business owners are invited.
Federal Boulevard/Monroe Avenue: Scheduled work next week (May 5-9) includes excavation in the Washington Avenue/Federal Boulevard intersection. During this work in the middle of Federal Boulevard, traffic will be diverted around the work — northbound traffic will travel on the east side of Federal, while southbound traffic will be routed around the work on the west side of Federal.
Storm sewer installation is scheduled to continue toward Washington in the coming week. Installation of conduit for the new Federal/Monroe traffic signal wiring is scheduled this coming week, and citizens should expect traffic delays due to the Federal/Monroe conduit work.

Citizens are also reminded of the reduced 25 mph speed limit and 10-foot width restriction on Federal Boulevard.
