Police Blotter: Arrests; Riverton man arrested for child endangering; Starving horses reported

(Fremont County, Wyo.) – Here is the Thursday’s recap of law enforcement activity around the county from the past 24 hours. All those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.

Fremont County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests:

Charlie Marie Whiteman, 36, Riverton, Probation Revocation.

Theodore Tyrell Moss, 26, Riverton, Domestic Battery.

Calls:

Deputies were called a couple times on Wednesday about starving horses on Eight Mile Road. Similar reports were made earlier in the week. The Sheriff’s Office reports that all of the reports are under investigation.

A woman on Wednesday morning reported to deputies that herdebit card had been compromised and needed a police report for the bank.

A woman in Jeffrey City reported getting a possibly fraudulent phone call from someone claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House.

At 7:46 p.m., deputies were called to Bald Mountain Road in Dubois for a report of some dogs chasing deer in the area.

At 10:15 p.m., deputies were called to the Rustic Pine Tavern in Dubois for a report of a patron being rowdy and causing problems.

 

Riverton Police Department

Arrests:

Ardie LongSoldier, 44, Riverton, Public Intoxication.

Cordell Washington, 40, Arapahoe, Public Intoxication.

Zachary Bolte, 25, Riverton, Child Endangering and Failure to Appear Warrant.

Rodney Carver, 40, Riverton, Failure to Appear Warrant.

Lander Police Department
