(Opal, Wyo.) – Rachel Anderson provided several photos of Wednesday afternoon’s fire following an explosion at the Williams natural gas processing plant in Lincoln County. The plant has been shut down and an investigation launched into the cause. There were no injuries.

The explosion and fire resulted in the Town of Opal being evacuated as a precaution. U.S. Highway 30 and Wyoming 240 were closed after the incident, but both were re-opened today.
